The Blurry Dog Series
In 2005, I began what I call “The Blurry Dog Series” mostly by accident. I had two incredibly active dogs, Bruno & Uta. They were German Shorthaired Pointers and could run very fast, for hours on end. Trying to capture them in motion usually resulted in blurry images. After a while I began to appreciate the blurred images for what they were—snapshots of time and motion. So I kept experimenting. Some of the results are barely recognizeable as dogs, but interesting nonetheless, I think.
